Backup bookmarks on Chrome
Google Chrome's Bookmark Manager can import and export bookmarks as a backup, however, if you recently removed a bookmark - or even worse, a whole folder of bookmarks - by mistake without a backup, you are able to briefly depend on Chrome's automatic back-up file. Chrome replaces this backup each and every time it begins, and this strategy only works when you have maybe not reopened the web browser as you removed the bookmarks you would like restored.
1
Press "Windows-R" and run "%localappdata%\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default" to start the Chrome individual data folder on Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Microsoft windows 8 and 8.1.
Step Two
Select "Bookmarks.bak" and push "Ctrl-C" to duplicate the file. If file's title becomes highlighted, mouse click off to the side of file's title and try once more - you will need to copy the file itself, perhaps not its title. If done correctly, you'll not see any on-screen indication.
Step Three
Press "Ctrl-V" to generate a duplicate of Bookmarks.bak named "Bookmarks - Copy.bak." Once you push "Ctrl-V, " the screen might scroll to the bottom, so scroll backup to be sure the latest file is out there.
Step 4
Close Chrome in the event that you still have it open and then delete both "Bookmarks" and "Bookmarks.bak" from folder. Pick "Bookmarks - Copy.bak" and hit "F2" to rename the file, titling it "Bookmarks" without any expansion.
