Google Chrome bookmarks Stored

Over a lengthy duration, the average computer user accrues a relatively large number of bookmarks, which range from commonly checked out websites to internet sites featuring important info or information. Deleting these bookmarks on accident can wreak havoc on your output; to guard from this, Bing Chrome automatically keeps a backup of all bookmarks conserved using the browser. When you have inadvertently erased your Chrome bookmarks, you'll restore all of them using this backup - provided you don't restart Chrome before after these actions, or else you will overwrite the back-up.

Launch the Microsoft windows 8 File Explorer and demand following place on your hard disk drive: C:\Users\(your individual title)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

Right-click the file labeled "Bookmarks.bak" and choose "Rename" from menu. This file is the most recent and immediately produced backup of bookmarks folder through the final time you began Chrome.

Enter "Bookmarks" without the quotation scars once the new name of file and press "Enter" in your keyboard. Overwrite the existing file if encouraged.

Resume Bing Chrome to revive the formerly deleted bookmarks.

Suggestion

• If you do not see the AppData folder, make it visible by starting the control interface, choosing Folder Options and placing a check-in the box next to "Show concealed files" found in the View tab.

Caution

• If you currently launched Google Chrome after deleting your bookmarks, it is impossible to recuperate all of them.
